What is the .suiin format?
The .suiin format is a digital sheet music format specifically designed for piano learning apps. It contains note timing, pitch, duration, and other musical information that allows apps like Suiin App to display sliding note guidance.
Why does the sound switch to a different piano tone when I change audio devices?
When you switch audio output devices (e.g., from iPhone speaker to headphones), iOS may reset the audio session. Suiin App uses high-quality sampled piano sounds, and this reset can sometimes cause the sound library to revert to a fallback tone. We're working on a fix for this issue in an upcoming update.
How do I connect my MIDI keyboard?
Connect your MIDI keyboard via USB or Bluetooth MIDI. Suiin App should automatically detect compatible MIDI devices. Go to Settings in the app to configure MIDI input if needed.
Can I use my own .suiin files?
Currently, Suiin App uses its internal .suiin library. Support for user-imported .suiin files is planned for a future update.
Is my progress saved if I uninstall the app?
Learning progress is stored locally on your device. We recommend backing up your device or using iCloud before uninstalling. Cloud sync for progress is planned for a future update.
The sliding notes seem out of sync with the music. What should I do?
Try adjusting the audio latency settings in the app's Settings menu. You can also try closing other apps running in the background to free up system resources.
